Kathy Minor, age 75, of Pocahontas, formerly of Humboldt, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Pleasant View Home in Albert City.
Kathy Jo Minor, the daughter of Joseph and Katherine (Meyer) Winninger, was born on January 27, 1947 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She attended St. Edmunds High School and graduated in 1965. Following graduation, Kathy attended Tobin Business School in Fort Dodge. Kathy was united in marriage to Howard Minor on November 25, 1967 at St. Joseph’s Church in Barnum, Iowa. Kathy loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was an avid Bible reader, loved to talk on the phone, and enjoyed making mint candies and cupcakes. Left to cherish Kathy’s memory are her children, Kay Hamre of Pocahontas and David (Lisa) Minor of Humboldt; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Minor, and parents, Joe and Katherine Winninger.
