Kathy Lynn (White) Clark, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, in Indianapolis. She was born on September 28, 1950, in Franklin, In. to her parents Claude and Margaret (Dillman) White. Kathy graduated from Whiteland Community High School in 1968. She married Larry Clark on August 29, 2005, in Gattlinburg, TN.

She worked in the office for the K-mart Corporation from 1975-1994 and then moved to Safeco/American States Insurance from approximately 1996-2007. In 2008, Larry and Kathy moved to Sevierville, TN and she went to work for Dollywood, in their season-pass center. She worked there from 2008 until 2014, when they moved back to Indiana, to be closer to family and friends. Kathy was known as “Nanny” to everyone. While she cherished all of her family members dearly, the bond she had with Cheyenne, Mackenzie, and Brody was undeniable; they were more than family, they were best friends.

Her husband Larry was her true love, her one and only that she was able to make wonderful memories with, during their short life together. Kathy was the most incredible mother, in the world. She was a single parent, but she chose to do it all by herself, her way. There were times that it was “rough-going” but she persevered and she was able to create a beautiful bond a mother and daughter could have. She enjoyed sewing quilts, making cards, attending car shows, and having lunch and get-togethers with family and friends. She will be truly missed and always loved!

Kathy is survived by her loving husband, of 11 years, Larry Clark of Indianapolis, and one daughter, Lisa (Trent) Boyer of Indianapolis, one step-daughter, Sherry (Rusty) Hanes of Danville, three granddaughters Cheyenne White, Mackenzie Hart, and Amber (Jeremy) Wade, four grandsons, Jordan Clark, Chase Clark, Nick Steinmetz, and Blake (KyAnn) Deckard, three great grandsons, Brody Brichler, Brennan Deckard, Drake Boyer, and one on the way, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one step-son, Jason Clark, her parents, Claude and Margaret White, and three brothers, Garry, Richard, and Michael White.
