Kathy Lee Hemperly, 57, of Fort Walton Beach passed away peacefully on Friday, August 14, 2015 at University of South Alabama Medical Center. She was born on August 29, 1957 in Massillon, Ohio and graduated in 1975 from Massillon, Washington High School. Kathy resided in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 30 years. Loved her beloved, Ohio State Buckeyes, adored her grandchildren and enjoyed the ocean.
Kathy is survived by her son, Nickolas D. (Jennifer) Atkins, of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Eric L. (Serena) Atkins, of Massillon, OH, daughter, Heather L. Hemperly of Massillon, OH; four grandchildren, Aaliyah, Jacob, Callie & Makayla; her sister, Robin (Greg) Kinney; niece, Amanda Kinney and great nieces, Elliana & Leila. She was preceded in death by her father, David Atkins (1986) and mother, Janice Atkins (2004).
