Kathy Lawrence, 73, formerly of Rockford, passed away on Thursday, October 28, at home, surrounded by her family.
Kathy was born on January 31, 1948 in Mt. Vernon, IL to Simon and Rebecca (Dotson) Smith. She spent her life working as a nurse. Kathy loved her cats and her family. She is survived by her sister Phyllis Schmitt of Ottawa and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Jenni, in infancy.In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family
