Kathy Jeanne O’Banion Jones, 61, Anderson, died May 20, 2010 at St. Johns Health System after a sudden illness.
She was born December 30, 1948 in Anderson, and lived here for most of her life. Kathy retired from Lucent Technologies after 30 years of service. Survivors include her daughter, Ragan Rainey, husband, Michael of Winder, GA; brother, Jim O’Banion, wife, Marlene of Anderson; three grandchildren, Trey, Madison, & Carsyn Rainey; and special friend, Steve Biddle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Vanna Mather O’Banion; and a sister-in-law, Judye O’Banion.
