Kathy was born in Muncie on May 13, 1959, the daughter of Chester and Bonnie (Cook) Strong, and attended Southside High School.
Survivors include two children, Johnny Braden Jr., Muncie, and Jamie Braden, Muncie; four brothers, Ronnie Strong, Randy Strong, Kevin Strong, and Steven Strong, all of Muncie; two sisters, Sherrie Strong, and Karen Floyd, (husband-Jesse), both of Muncie; her ex-husband, Johnny Braden Sr., (wife-Jackie), Muncie; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Chester “Bubby” Strong Jr.
