M. Katherine “Kathy” Hess, daughter of George Grant Huffman and Edith Constance (Lundin) Huffman, was born February 2, 1928. She passed away August 19, 2022 at the powerful age of 94 years old. Kathy married her college sweetheart, David Albert Hess on May 6, 1947.
She loved and was very proud of her 5 children, 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
The nursing staff at Lakeland Regional loved her, and said she was the most delightful 94 year old patient they had ever known, and Kathy loved the staff as well. Kathy said the staff became a part of her life story. Now her story continues with Jesus. We love her, and rejoice in being a part of her life story.
