Kathy Gipe, 76, of Markleville, passed away on January 18, 2020 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus.
She was born on September 9, 1943 in Anderson, Indiana and lived in Anderson and Markleville all of her life. Kathy graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1961 where she was a Majorette. She worked for Nicholson File and Weidner Chevrolet where she was dearly loved.
She loved vacationing, especially to Disney World, being with her family, and even had her own ceramics shop in her garage called Kathy’s Place.
Kathy is survived by her loving daughters, Melissa (Benjamin) Cook and Michelle Gipe, grandchildren, Maryn and Xander Cook, sister, Karen Plew; and nieces, Andrea (Scott) Oakley, and Lynsey Plew.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Micheal D. Gipe; her parents, James “Ed” and Ada Davis, and brother-in-law Terry Plew.
