Kathy Dubach, 65, formerly of Ottawa, died on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at her home in Carbondale, IL.
Kathy was born on January 11, 1952 in Ottawa to Robert and Marie (Keller) Boyd. She married Andrew Dubach, Jr. on June 25, 1977 at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Ottawa.
Kathy was a former member of Beta Sigma Phi, and a current member of Zion Lutheran Church, Ottawa, and the Stage Company, Carbondale. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, baking, gardening, and attending the theater.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Andrew, 4 children, Sarah (Wade Barker) Dubach, of Carbondale, IL, Adrian Dubach, of Swansea, IL, Alicia Rhodes, of Granite City, IL and Zachary Dubach, of Carbondale, IL, 10 grandchildren, 6 honorary grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and chosen family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marie, her father-in-law Andrew Dubach, Sr., mother-in-law, Agnes (Rosales) Dubach, and 2 cousins Richard Thompson and Colleen Day. Pallbearers will be Thomas Thompson, Algirdas and Markus Saulys, George Conrad, Jacob Callahan, and Pete Johnson.
