Kathy Ann Hauge, 75, joined her Savior in eternity on August 28, 2022 in High Rolls Mountain Park, New Mexico.  She was born on March 13, 1947 in Lubbock, Texas to Buell and Joan Price.  

Kathy spent many of her elementary school years in Alamogordo, New Mexico and graduated from Gadsden High School while living in La Mesa, New Mexico. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and her Master of Fine Arts from New Mexico State University.  She was a Professor of Art for 25 years and Head of the Professional-Technical Division at New Mexico State University, Alamogordo.  She retired in 2001 in order to pursue her passion for painting.  Though she battled Multiple Sclerosis for many years and dealt with limited mobility, she devoted herself to her artwork and her philanthropic endeavors. Her generosity was extraordinary. Kathy’s greatest joy was found in loving her husband, Arlan, her family and her relationship with Jesus. Her unwavering faith was expressed through her tremendous love for people.  

Survivors include her husband, Arlan Hauge; her daughter, Lara Miel Pridemore and husband, Paul; her grandchildren, Madison and Joshua Pridemore; her sister, Candy Bateson; her brother, Richard Price and wife, Nancy; as well as many beloved nephews, nieces and extended family. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Milton Buell Price and her mother, Joan Katherine Bingham.
