Kathy Ann (Bagley) Sharp, age 60, of Kempton, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at her home. Kathy was born in Tipton, Indiana on December 17, 1961, to her parents, Max & Donna (Robey) Bagley.
Kathy attended Tipton High School. She did not graduate from high school, but it was very important to her to earn her GED, which she did in 1990. She worked at Steel Parts in Tipton for almost 30 years. Her work family meant so much to her, they were all so special and a huge part of her everyday life.
Kathy loved all of God’s creatures, some of her favorites being cats, dogs, and opossums! She enjoyed watching movies, the scarier the better. She was never one to pass up a garage sale; she loved to wheel & deal for a good bargain. She was an extraordinary speller; her daughter, Missy will miss having her own personal spell checker. Kathy enjoyed fishing and it was made even better when the sun was shining. She loved the sunshine; its warmth, its light, the way it gives life to everything it touches. Kathy suffered from demons but she herself was such a shining light for so many others and she will be deeply missed.
She was a giver, even if it meant going without herself. She loved her family and friends to no end. She enjoyed being around others but also enjoyed the quiet peace of being at home. Kathy earned her angel wings; they were not just given to her.
Those left to carry on Kathy’s legacy of love are her daughter, Malisha (Zach Phifer) Sharp; son, Jim (Courtney) Hunter; brother, Richard Bagley; aunt. Maryhelen Roby; uncle, Donnie Jacobs; grandchildren, Brynlee Lawson and Jayden Hunter; as well as several cousins, extended family, and her Steel Parts family.
