Kathryn Louise Smith, the daughter of Robert and Anna (Paul) Smith, was born on March 16, 1947 in Algona, Iowa. Kathryn loved sewing, making crafts, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Left to cherish Kathryn’s memory is her children: Carol (Jeff) Burtis of Algona, Liz (Randy) Hayungs of Britt and James (Tammie) Smith of Clarksville, TN; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; sister’s, Susan (Denny) Wilson of Algona, Judy Smith (Calvin Williams) of Lytton, Barb (Jeff) Hansen of Estherville and Jan (Don) Reffer of Algona; brother, Larry (Sheryl) Smith of Algona; three aunts and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter; great grandson; three brothers and one sister in-law.
