Kathryn was born on December 6, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Willard Eugene Doty, Sr. and Margaret Elizabeth (Raley) Doty. She was one of six children and enjoyed the benefits of growing up in a large family and sharing special bonds with her siblings. Kathryn graduated from St. Martins High School. She married Carroll J. Gerbig on November 22, 1980. Kathryn retired after many years from Reliable Churchill. She was a loving and generous person with a quick wit and a dry sense of humor. She was deeply devoted to her family.
