Kathryn piloted her final departure from Denver on Thursday March 1, 2018. Her on time, 9:57 AM, unscheduled flight left behind many loved ones with memories and saddened hearts. Her flight was oversold with Love, but all was boarded. Born Kathryn Marie Ayers, November 5, 1948, in St. Cloud Minnesota, daughter of Eileen Margaret Cummings and Alvin Guy Ayers. Attended Cathedral High School and St Cloud State College. Joined Braniff Airlines as a flight attendant in 1972 and retired as a flight attendant from United Airlines in 2003. Kathryn served as Vice President of her Homeowners Association where she directed landscaping and beautification, leaving a legacy in her living community. She saw and created beauty all around her inspiring and touching the lives of others. Kathryn was full of style, grace and humor. She reminds us to appreciate all that is beautiful in this world. Her life was a hallelujah! After a short stay at Denver Hospice surrounded by loving husband Ron, family and friends, Kathryn died peacefully on March 1, 2018. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, niece Alexandra Boyer and special cousin Ted Snyder. Survived by her husband, Ronald Lee Eccles, step daughter Kristina Eccles, grand daughters Sydney Miller Eccles and Jordan Miller Eccles, brother Stephen Ayers (Deanna Hammond), sisters Evelyn Ayers (Timothy Looby), Jeanne Ayers, Mary Louise Ayers (Phil Canova) and nieces and nephews, Grey Boyer (Rena Boyer), Kelsey Smogard-Ayers, Soren Smogard-Ayers, goddaughter Maureen Ayers Looby (Mathew Olson), Bridget Ayers looby, Anna Ayers Looby, Emily Ayers-Johnson (Adam Langenfeld), Margaret Ayers-Johnson, Joseph Ayers-Johnson and great nieces and nephew Alexandra, Mason, Erin and Katrina, and great-god baby.
