Kathryn ‘Kathy’ Marcella Young, 86 of Rising Sun, MD, died Friday, November 11, 2011 at home.
Born in Butterfield, MN, on September 28, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Edward and the late Marie Hubin Rupp.
She was a Veteran Missionary with CAM International Central American Missions retiring from active service in 1985.
Kathy was a member of Grace Bible Chapel. She was active in the Cecil County Prison Ministry for women at the Cecil County Detention Center. She was also an accomplished artist, selling her work and donating the money to missions.
She is survived by her husband: Donald E. Young of Rising Sun, MD; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
