Kathryn M. Griffin, 77, of Brighton, passed away January 22, 2013 in Brighton. She was born in Akron, OH on November 9, 1935 to Daniel and Etta (Seitz) Neff. She graduated from high school in Cuyahoga Falls, OH and earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH. She continued her education to receive her Master’s Degree at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. She married Clint Griffin on August 29, 1959 in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
Kathryn moved to Brighton in 1957 and began her 30 year career with Brighton 27J schools. She was a teacher at North Elementary School for the majority of that time. She also spent 50+ years with the Chapter BN PEO of Brighton and served as the past president for three terms.
