Kathryn Irene Sednek, 96, passed away Jan. 19, 2018 at the Little Sisters of the Poor in Denver, CO where she resided for twenty-two years. Kathryn was born Feb. 26, 1921 in Rush County, the daughter of the late Claude and Edith (Kamper) Sullivan. She graduated from Morristown High School in 1939. Shortly after, she entered the United States Army and served in World War II. She married William F. Sednek on Oct. 4, 1944, her husband of 52 years, and he would precede her in death in Nov. 1996. Those left to celebrate her life are three sons, Mike (Carol) Sednek, of Kersey, CO, Stephen Sednek, of Poncho Springs, CO and Johan (Elaine) Sednek, of Lusk, WY; nine daughters, Judy (Bob) Schmidt, of Aurora, CO, Alice (Bruce) Dice, of Littleton, CO, Mary Wilson, of Rushville, IN, Margaret (David) Smith, of Waldron, IN, Amy (Jeff) Ruxer, of Jasper, IN, Theresa (Cy) Duval of Corydon, IN, Nanette (Tom) Lee, of Albuquerque, NM, Marcia Sednek and companion Guy, of Tigeras, NM and Anita Sednek, of Albuquerque, NM. She was also blessed with 26 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Kathryn was preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie Overman and four children, Tina, Tom, Joan McLaughlin & Becky Newkirk.
