Kathryn Miles Tracy Aldridge, 97, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 29, 2018, at River Ridge Assisted Living Center.
Kathryn was born July 21, 1921, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Raymond Walker Miles and Ethel Martha Castleton Miles. She grew up and attended schools in Salt Lake City, Utah, Lyman, Wyoming, and Ucon, Idaho and graduated as valedictorian from Ucon High School. She also attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, University of Utah in Salt Lake City, and Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She joined the Women’s Air Corp during World War II and served as a Sergeant.
On June 8, 1948, she married Evan Ray Tracy in Idaho Falls, Idaho Temple. To this union were born five children. Kathryn and Evan made their home in Ucon, Idaho. Kathryn was a devoted mother and homemaker and also worked as a schoolteacher. Evan preceded her in death on July 5, 1968.
On June 26, 1982, she married Daniel T. Aldridge in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2003.
