Kathryn A. O’Neill Kathryn A. O’Neill, 66, of Danbury, wife of Theodore G. O’Neill, died surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at her home. Mrs. O’Neill was born in Staten Island, NY, September 21, 1947, daughter of William and Margaret (McNamara) Sherwood. She attended NY schools. An area resident for the past forty years coming from Staten Island, Mrs. O’Neill was a substitute teacher with the Danbury Public School system. She enjoyed cooking, reading and travel and was member of St. Gregory the Great Parish of Danbury. In addition to her husband of thirty-six years, she is survived by three sons, Adam Vossbrinck and his wife, Debbie, Jon Vossbrinck and his wife, Adrianna and Ted O’Neill and his wife, Carrie; two brothers, Warren Sherwood and Dennis Sherwood; a sister, Peggy Griswald; seven grandchildren, Grace, Ryan, George, Grady, Lauren, Patrick and Katie and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Mrs. O’Neill was predeceased by a son, Paul Vossbrinck.
