Kathryn A. Boeke, age 73 of Freeport, IL, passed away at home on February 16, 2022. She was born December 5, 1948 in Freeport; the daughter of the late Earl and Velma (Whetstone) Sincox. She grew up in Apple River, IL and was a graduate of Warren High School in Warren, IL. Kathryn Married David Boeke on October 24, 1981.
She was a personal banker for US Bank of Freeport for 35 years where she made many friends over the years. She enjoyed crocheting and had a great love for all animals, especially her beloved dogs. Family was everything to her. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Kathryn was a kind, sweet, and loving person who would do anything for anyone.
She is survived by her husband, David Boeke of Freeport; their children, Tim (Sherri Schulz) Thyberg of Roscoe, IL, Troy Boeke of Shannon, IL, and Amy (Scott) Schoonhoven of German Valley, IL; grandchildren, Hunter, Ryan, Wyett, Madyson, and Alec; and niece, Debra Martin of Freeport. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sandy McCarthy.
