Throughout her career in nursing, Kathy loved taking care of children. She worked in pediatrics for many years, leading to a long and rewarding career as a school nurse at the Downey and Goddard Schools. Kathy loved her time at the Downey school, caring for children with disabilities.
Kathy was an avid lover of animals and enjoyed them throughout her lifetime. She had the opportunity to raise horses, goats, dogs, and their beloved cats along with her husband, Jay.
