Mrs. Kathleen Mary (Parker) Pighinni, age 59, of Manns Harbor, NC, (formerly of Prospect) passed away peacefully, Monday, February 8, 2016, at the home of her sister, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Richard G. Pighinni.
Kathleen was born October 2, 1956 in Bridgeport, a daughter of Shirley (Richards) Parker of Naugatuck and the late John Parker.
Prior to her retirement Kathleen was a C.N.A. for Country Manor Convalescent Home in Prospect. Her life revolved around her grandchildren, children, and especially her husband of 41 years, who was also her best friend.
She is survived by her husband: Richard Gary Pighinni, her two daughters: Shannon Callahan and her husband Michael of Bethany and Courtney Deraleau and her husband Joseph of Burlington, one son: Ryan Pighinni of Torrington; her mother Shirley (Richards) Parker of Naugatuck, three sisters: Robin Gorgas of Oxford, Donna Parker of Southbury, Kristy Morrone of Prospect, and two brothers: Johnny Parker of Southbury and Scott Parker of Waterbury; and six grandchildren: Aidan, Allison, Mackenzie, Addison, Kyleigh, and Adam.
