Kathleen Parker, May 2, 1943 – May 21, 2017.

Kathleen (Vickers) Parker, 74, of Belton passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017 in Belton.

Kathleen was born on May 2, 1943 in McKee, Kentucky to Roy and Aline (Moberly) Vickers. She grew up in McKee and attended school at Jackson County High School. Mrs. Parker married Wade Parker on May 22, 1964 in Ayer, Massachusetts and they celebrated almost 53 years together. Mrs. Parker moved to the Central Texas area in 1984 worked for the Commissary on Ft. Hood for 19 years before retiring in 2007. She and Wade were members of the Belton Lighthouse Church in Belton.

Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her father Roy and a son Lonnie Ray Smith. She is survived by her loving husband Wade of Belton, mother Aline Vickers of McKee, Kentucky, sons Bobby Smith of Alaska and Wade Dewayne Parker and his wife Jennifer of Morgan’s Point, daughters Donna Gail Gadoury and her husband Peter of Stephenville, and Sherry Parker Chapman and her husband Rob of Morgan’s Point. Also surviving are brothers Tommy Vickers of Kentucky, Leroy Vickers of Ohio, Jackie Vickers of Kentucky, Jimmy Vickers of Kentucky, Dallace Vickers of Texas, Ricky Vickers of Kentucky, and Eugene Vickers of Kentucky, as well as sisters Ona Mae Aubrey of Kentucky, Bernice Moore of Kentucky, and Kathy Neeley of Kentucky.

Kathleen also leaves behind nine grandchildren, Cody Smith, Jason Reynolds, Mandy Dyer, Chelsea Gadoury, Joseph Gadoury, Devan Pelli, Colton Parker, Taylor Bagly, and Tori Chapman, and four great grandchildren, Emmitt Smith, Gage Reynolds, Delaney Dyer, and Faith Reynolds.
