Kathleen L. Farmer, 64, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at 2:25 a.m. at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN.
Kathleen was born on November 11, 1951, in Huntington, IN, to Harry “Hap” Oden and Fern (Meyer) Oden. Her parents preceded her in death. She married William Farmer on February 7, 1970, in Huntington, IN. He survives in Huntington, IN.
Kathleen graduated from Huntington High School in 1970. She worked as a cook, and retired from Heritage of Huntington. Mrs. Farmer loved quilting and she was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church.
Along with her husband, Mrs. Farmer is survived by two sons, Donald Farmer, Huntington, IN and Derek Farmer, Huntington, IN. She is survived by two grandchildren, Casey B. Curry, Huntington, IN, and Madison Yarger, Huntington, IN. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Beverly Voland, and her husband, Jeff Wall, Huntington, IN; and a cousin, Deborah (Louis) Veilleux, Andrews, IN.
In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by one brother, Randy Oden and two sisters, Sidne Lee Landon and Patti Lou Caskey.
