It is with heavy hearts that we share news of Kathy’s peaceful passing after her brave battle with COPD.
Kathy’s family chooses to believe after her passing, she was, first, met at the Rainbow Bridge by our small army our kitties and dogs who had left this earth before her—Putz, Abby, Buddy, Magoo and the countless cats she rescued…..Imagining the unconditional love and slobbery kisses she was greeted with– Oh, how happy she would be.
Without a doubt, in the afterlife, Kathy is catching up with her parents and in laws, sister and brother, sister in laws, and nephews and friends that have passed before her. To be there for this reunion, the world would be jealous– the amount of love shared would immense.
In her time on earth, Kathy had accomplished so much. A novel could be written. But, her family selfishly chooses to see her unending love for us as her biggest achievement.
Finding her soul mate in Harvey did not just bring happiness to them both but created a legacy of love as an example to their daughter and grandchildren. Kathy loved Harvey so much it was difficult to find where she started and he ended. And he, not only loved and adored her, as well, but truly found his lifelong best friend in her.
When she didn’t have to love, she did anyway.
When she didn’t have to be unconditional, she was anyway.
When she could’ve been the “step-mom”, she choose to love as a birth mom.
Where she was the ex-husbands new wife, she became a friend and family.
When she could’ve walked away from homeless animals, instead she loved and cared for them.
That was Kathy. And there will be no one to come close to replacing her beautiful soul.
Her family will spend their lifetimes missing her and looking forward to being reunited.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband Harvey, her daughter Andrea, son in law, Bob and grandkids, Noah, Lana, Gage, Tate and Thea. Other grieving family members include nieces Bernie, Eileen and Nancy and nephews Jimmy, Nick, Jason and Paul(who will be greeting her in the afterlife, along with his puppy Abby). And she will be dearly missed by her friends Alyce, Marylou and Marlene.
Kathy was loved by so many. And it is our sincerest wish that she left feeling as much love from us as we have received from her.
Cheers
