Kathleen Moran (nee Kelly), 80 of Toms River, NJ passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 at home. Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, she moved to Toms River in 1970. Kathleen began her career with NJ Bell in Jersey City and Toms River as an operator and later worked as an Accounts Manager, retiring after 32 years of service.
She was an active parishioner of St. Justin RC Church, Toms River and was a member of the churchâ™s Rosary Altar Society. Kathleen was also a member of the Ocean County Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was predeceased by her husband Edward J. Moran in 2008 and her daughter in law Lisa Moran.
Surviving are her children Michael Moran of North Carolina, Kathleen Fitzgerald and her husband Gary of Toms River, Edward Moran and his wife Kathy of Florida, 8 grandchildren Ryan, Eric and his wife Amanda, Megan, Melissa, Jennifer, Corey, Kayla, and Lauren, a brother Patrick âœJoeâ Kelly and his wife Anne of Maywood, NJ, a sister Mary and many nieces and nephews.
