Kathleen ‘Kay’ Meagher Wall , 90

Hoosick Falls Kathleen ‘Kay’ Meagher Wall , 90, formerly of Troy, died Monday, September 20, 2004 at Hoosick Falls Health Center in Hoosick Falls after a brief illness.

Born in Fair Haven, VT, she was the daughter of the late James Meagher and Catherine (Shanahan) Meagher and wife of the late Thomas G. Wall.

She had resided in Troy for many years and was a graduate of Fair Haven High School in Vermont and St. Peter’s Hospital School of Nursing in Albany.

Mrs. Wall was a Registered Nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital in Troy for several years prior to World War 2 when she entered the US Navy in December 1941, becoming a Lieutenant J.G. She was later employed by Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center in Troy for 11 years.

She was a communicant of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Troy where she was a former president of the Altar Rosary Society, a teacher in the CCD program, a lector and a Eucharistic Minister. She was a Eucharistic adorer at Our Lady’s Chapel at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Troy for many years.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary Kay (John) Oliver of Speigletown, Anne Grzelecki (Alan) of Schenectady and Kathleen M. Wall of Phoenix, AZ; two sons, Thomas M. Wall of Phoenix, AZ and James R. Wall of Phoenix, AZ; four grandchildren, Arthur Oliver, Damon Oliver, Jesse Wall and Reyna Wall; 2 nephews and a niece. She was predeceased by a brother, James Meagher.
