Kathleen Johnson King, 98, of Statesville, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Autumn Care of Statesville.
Kathleen was born in Iredell County on August 15, 1923 to the late J. Boyce Johnson and Victoria Alexander Johnson. She graduated from Sharon High School and was married to the late Ray W. King, who preceded her in death in 2005. Kathleen worked at Iredell Memorial Hospital as a secretary for 25 years before her retirement.
Kathleen is survived by her son; Fred King, daughter; Karen K. Graves (Stewart), sister-cousin; Betty Godfrey, grandson; Kenneth King (Kendra), granddaughters; Kimberly Ehasz (Tye), Kristi Fisher (Kent), grandson; John Paschall and great-grandson; Kaden Ehasz. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Leroy, JB, and Burl Johnson.
