Kathleen “Kath” Bell Honeycutt Seibert, 85, formerly of Denver, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Brian Center of Mooresville.

She was born in Iredell County on March 21, 1928 to the late Andrew Jessie and Della Freeze Honeycutt.

Kathleen was active in her church and enjoyed quilting and teaching others to quilt.

She is survived by her sisters, Margaret H. Neel of Denver and Dorothy H. Brown of Huntersville; brother, Pete (Barbara) Honeycutt of Troutman; twin brother, Gene (Phyllis) Honeycutt of Troutman; step-daughters, Lou (Wayne) Leathers of Durham and Marty Seibert of Florida; step-grandchildren, Tim (Tina) Leathers and Traci (Bryan) Ashley; 10 great grandchildren; and 5 nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Rogers Seibert.
