On October 17, 2017, Kathleen FitzGerald, 48, of Ridgewood, New Jersey passed from this life after a noble struggle with brain cancer. She was born in Bristol, Connecticut, the youngest of seven children. Kathleen graduated from Albertus Magnus High School in Bardonia, NY, The College of Mount Saint Vincent and Fordham University where she obtained her Masters of Business Administration. Following her graduation from Fordham, she was selected by the prestigious Standard and Poor Company in New York. She continued her career at GE Capital where she distinguished herself as a Six Sigma Black Belt and the American Express Company. She was most recently a homemaker and volunteered at Oasis, A Haven for Women & Children in Patterson, New Jersey. Kathleen was known for her genuine kindness and her belief in the goodness of others. She lived her life with happiness, love and grace. Kathleen leaves her devoted husband, Brian; her three much beloved children Colin, Finn and Teagan; and her loving, heartbroken mother, Dolores. She was predeceased by her father, Frank Murphy.
