ROY – Kathleen Checketts passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015 at McKay Dee Hospital.
She was born March 24, 1953 in Ogden, Utah to John Clyde and Hazel Dean Lindsay Howe.
She married Grant Checketts on February 14, 1977 in Roy, Utah. They later divorced.
She graduated from Roy High School class of 1971; received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Weber State University.
Kathleen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She retired from IRS. Kathleen loved gardening, crocheting, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Kristine (Chris Bradley) Checketts, two grandchildren, Jenacey (Piston) Mitchell, Jason I. Hulse, a sister, Barbara (Ace) Farr, brothers, Virgil (Kay) Howe, Richard (Susan) Howe, Lindsay (Nancy) Howe, Robert Howe, and sister-in-law, Cheryl Howe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, John Howe and sister-in-law Cassie Howe.
