Kathleen Ann Amlin was born on March 5th 1945 in Boise, Idaho and passed away on July 21st, 2020 peacefully in her sleep.
Mom was raised in Boise, and that is where she met the love of her life, Mark Amlin Sr. Mom and dad were married in 1965, residing in Idaho and in Minnesota until moving back to Idaho permanently in 1980.
Mom loved to get together with her sisters and mother once a month for card parties. Mom would play cards every chance she would get. She would swear that someone was cheating unless she was winning. Mom also loved to crochet blankets. She made many afghans over the years for friends and family.
Mom’s legacy is her family. She had 5 children and loved them all. Each one special to her in their own way, as were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The great grandchildren nicknamed her “great” and she was proud of it!
Mom was very proud to be a breast cancer survivor. She also survived lung cancer twice. Every battle made her stronger than the last!
Mom was proceeded in death by her husband Mark, her father Jim, her 3 brothers ; Frank, John, and Tony, her brother in law Clark, and her sister in law Sheila. She is survived by her 5 children: Deanna, Mary and her husband Elmer, Suzanne, Marc Jr and his wife Chris, and Raymond. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, Her mother Mary, and sisters Eddie Sue, Pat, Mary, Sandy and Theresa. mom was a part of a large family of cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews that survive her as well.
