Kathie Jean Lockett, 56 of Westover, formerly of Grafton, passed away, Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital with family by her side. She was born in Havre de Grace, MD, on February 23, 1955, daughter of the late William Brewer and Darla Wysocki. She is survived by one daughter, Crystal Courtney and husband Charles, Morgantown; one son, Brady Douglas Smith II, Grafton, WV; four step-children, Yolanda Hunter and husband Kenneth, Clarksburg, Joyce Young and husband Glen, MS, Michael Lockett, Huttonsville, WV, Linkton Lockett Jr, MO; numerous grandchildren; three brothers, William Brewer, Edward Brewer and David Brewer all of PA; two sisters, Holly Wysocki and Tammy Wysocki both of NJ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Linkton Lockett Sr. Kathie graduated from Grafton High School and worked at the Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center and a medical transcriptionist for many years.
