Katherine Virginia Armstrong, known as “Mimi” by many, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 9, 2011. She was born the third child to Cordelia Geesy Mullen and William Edward Mullen on October 3, 1914. She is predeceased by both parents, a brother Harold Mullen and a sister, Thelma Stevens, her first husband Irvin Lee Jones and her second husband William Armstrong.
Katherine graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1932. During her 96 years she owned several restaurants with her first husband, Irvin, in Farmland, Liberty Corner and Muncie.
