Katherine Saralee Elliott Wyant Bennett, 86, Anderson, passed away April 27, 2009 at Countryside Manor, Anderson after an extended illness. She was born January 16, 1923 in Pendleton, Indiana, and resided in Anderson all of her life. Katherine served her country in the US Navy.
She retired from Container Corporation for 36 years. Katherine was a member of Huntsville Good Shepard Community Church.
She is survived by her son, Roger & wife Kathleen Wyant of Anderson; step-children, Cecelia & husband John David Loveless of Anderson, Jack & wife Julee Bennett of Frankton and Tim & wife Darlene Bennett of Anderson; sister-in-law, Ruth Elliott of LeMares, Iowa; two nephews, Mike Beasley & Murray Beasley; grandchildren, Keri & husband Jeff Kardatzke, Toni Hazelbaker, Travis Bennett, Chad Clevenger, Rae Anna & husband Jeff Bierworth, Dwayne Burke and Jaime & husband Jeff Shaw; great grandkids, Zack Clabaugh, Lindsey & Emily Kardatzke, Samantha Hazelbaker, Shaley Baldwin, Jaden Shaw, Travis Jr. and Chaz Bennett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Bennett; and siblings, Larry Elliott, Suzanne Beasley and Sharon Hamilton.
