Katherine (Griska) Peidl, 52, of Bristol, died March 13, 2007 at the Connecticut Hospice, Inc. in Branford.
She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late George J. and Katherine (Fike) Griska. She is survived by her two daughters, Melissa K. Peidl of Bristol and Jennifer Dube and her husband, Brian of Bristol along with their precious daughter, Natalee Renee, granddaughter of Katherine who brought joy and happiness to her life; her siblings, Gloria Griska of Newington, Mary Zuckerman and her husband, Ira of Tolland, Bernice Griska of Los Angeles, CA, Michael Griska of Grand Cayman Island, and George Griska of Newington; several nieces and nephews, including Brian Griska and his fiancé, Katrina Dahlgren whose devotion to Kathie was special.
Kathie graduated from South Catholic High School in Hartford. She devoted her life taking care of people as a home health aid. Kathie loved to watch the UCONN girl’s basketball games and her dogs Mug-Z, Peanut, and Taz. She constantly put others before herself, and had a kindness that was indescribable.
