Katherine Maxine Ayers, 84, passed away November 20, 2018.
Mrs. Ayers was born July 16, 1934 to Garrett and Gracie Ayers in Rutherford County. She loved to be at the beach, enjoyed reading, cooking, and crochet. Mrs. Ayers was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Ayers was preceded in death by her parents, Garrett and Gracie Ayers; her husband, Atlas Marlon Copley; son, Marlon Max Copley.
Mrs. Ayers is survived by her son, Perry Copley (Ranell) of Jacksonville, NC; daughter, Robin Davis (Jerry) of Youngsville, NC; brothers, Joe Ayers (Paula) of Oxford, NC, Clarence Ayers (Patty) of Oxford, NC; sisters, Mary Talley of Oxford, NC, Barbara Crabtree of Durham, NC; grandchildren, Katherine, Taylor, Marlon, Haley, James; and three great-grandchildren.
m. Friday November 23, 2018 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
