Katherine Carr, 89, born in New Orleans on January 25, 1926, passed away at home on July 20, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Marin and Vice (Vezich) Delo. She was united in marriage to the late Ernest J. Carr, Sr. for 49 years.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Helen (Delo) Band, brother, Stephen Delo, nephews James P. Band, III, Gordon S. Band, Sr. and Daniel M. Delo. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Joyce M. Delo, nieces, Denise A. Delo and Gretchen J. Delo, nephew, Stephen M. Delo, Sr. and wife Ann W. Delo, step-son, Ernest “E.J.” Carr, Jr. and wife Suzie, and step-grandson, Ernest “Jay” Carr, III, and family friend Audrey Lupiba. She was also survived by great nieces and nephews, additional family and friends.
