On April 10, 2011 Katherine M. Krieg,age 101, (neeVogel). Beloved wife of the late Gustav Krieg and John Acton. Devoted mother of Marion Haspert, Margaret Allman and the late Katherine Acton and Wilma Harper. Loving grandmother of Frank, John, Michael, Kelly, Shannon, Mary and Kerry. Also blessed with seventeen great-grandchildren and six great- great grandchildren.
Mrs. Krieg was Past National Soloist, Past Department President, and Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 2916, She also held many offices in the Military Order of the Cootie, and was a longtime Member of Christ Lutheran Church.
