Those left to honor Kay’s memory are her four grandchildren, Cindy Camacho of Anaheim Hills, California, Jeff Stinson of Oceanside, California, Gary and Mark Stinson, both of Fullerton, California; and special friends, June and Jerry Anderson and their son, Alvin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adrain C. and Elizabeth Ann (Friend) Raridon; husband, John in 1972; two sons, John A. Stinson in 1997 and Lewis L. Stinson in 2000; four brothers, and two sisters.
Kay graduated from Baxter High School in Baxter in 1937; where she played and lettered in girls basketball.
Kay had worked as a receptionist at Central Junior High in Newton for 11 years, American Republic Insurance Company in Des Moines for 9 years, and Progress Industries in Newton for 14 years, retiring in 2000.
