Katherine L. (Tebelman) McMillen, 61, of Bethlehem, was surrounded by the love of her family when she peacefully passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem. She was the companion of Jeff Crocus, her lifelong sweetheart.
Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Charles G. and Mary (Potter) Tebelman. She earned her BA degree from Penn State University, and went on to earn her MA in Education Administration from Rowan University. She was a Special Education teacher in several schools in New Jersey and Colorado over her career, and most recently worked for St. Luke’s University Hospital. Katherine was a member of Christ Church UCC in Bethlehem, of the First United Methodist Church of Ft. Collins, CO, and of the International Chapter of PEO Sisterhood. She loved music and singing, going to church, reading, and going to the beach.
Survivors: sons Ethan McMillen of Portland, OR; sister Cory Czipoth and her husband Richard of Bethlehem; nephews Chris, John and his wife Barb, Jason and his wife Missy, Charles and his wife Lori; great nieces and nephews. Katherine was predeceased by her sister, Margaret (Tebelman) Gaydos.
