On February 5, 2008, Katherine L. “Cass” Weckesser passed on. Cass was dearly loved by her late husband of 33 years, George F. Weckesser; her dear children, Ray and Edward Childress, Kathy McIntire, Dawn “Dee” Belch and Pamela Traylor; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; her siblings, Marge, Rose and Jim; her late grandson, Ray Ray Childress; and her late parents, James and Ruth Talley. Cass was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1930. She was a happily married woman who enjoyed life as a homemaker. She was a devoted mother who took care of her children. Cass was a former member of Moose Lodge #1456. She enjoyed many hobbies including solving crosswords, camping and travelling.
