Katherine “Kay” Fulmer, age 84, of Buford, GA passed away Monday, April 12, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Crabtree; parents, George and Clara Finley Holdcroft; and brother, George Holdcroft.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane Hightower, Buford, GA, Lorrie Haney, Austell, GA; grandchildren, Ashley and Stephen White, Holly and Brian Taylor, Nick and MaKenzie Haney, Mitch Haney; great grandchildren, Brooke Taylor, Channing Taylor, Lilly Taylor, Daniel White, Gideon White, Elijah White, Abraham White and Viva Kay White.
Ms. Fulmer was born October 17, 1936 in Birmingham, AL.
She was a graduate of Ensley High School in Wylam, AL, a graduated of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s Degree and a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Master’s Degree specializing in education. She was a retired school teacher from DeKalb County School System after thirty years of service. She was a member of the Ivy Creek Baptist Church in Buford, GA and the Golden Girls Teacher Association. She loved painting and photography.
