Katherine B. Weber, age 88, of Escanaba, formerly of Trenary, passed away early Wednesday morning, August 23, 2017, at Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba, MI.
Katherine was born April 7, 1929, in Woodruff, WI, the daughter of Kenneth and Anna (Albrect) Brill. On January 14, 1950 she married Norbert Weber from Manistique, MI. They have been married for 67 years. Together, they owned the Trenary Tavern for 17 years. Katherine also drove bus for Marquette-Alger Intermediate Schools for 12 years until her retirement. Following her retirement, Katherine and Norbert spent 3 years in Gladstone before moving to an apartment at Bishop Noa Home.
In addition to her loving husband, Norbert, she is survived by:
1 Daughter: Kathy (Gerald) Seymour, of Rapid River, MI
1 Sister: Evangline (Robert) Demeuse of Gladstone, MI
4 Grandchildren: Mary Jo (Mike) McNelis, Treva (Frank) Yost, Lisa (Dean) LaChance, Shawn (Mel) Seymour.
5 Great Grandchildren: Aaron Brown, Eric Brown, Heather McNelis, MaKayla LaChance, Samantha LaChance.
1 Great Great Grandchild: Rayleece Brown
