Katharyn F. Weatherwax, 91
North Greenbush – Katharyn F. Weatherwax, 91, of NY 43 died July 30, 2008 at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness.
Born in the same home in North Greenbush on Route 43 that she resided in all her life, she was daughter of the late Samuel Weatherwax and Lena (Smauder) Weatherwax.
She was a bookkeeper for Dodge, Chamberlin and Luzine Associates architects in Rensselaer for 10 years, retiring in 1982. Prior to that, she was a bookkeeper for Albia Box and Paper in Troy and many years for Dunning Buick in Latham.
Katharyn was an active member of Salem United Methodist Church in West Sand Lake and its 3-M’s Club and the North Greenbush Snowmobile Club. She was an avid woodworker, snowmobiler and gardener.
Survivors include a sister, Dorothy I. Markussen of North Greenbush and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Myron and Harold Weatherwax.
Relatives and friends may call at the CHURCH on Friday from 10-11AM prior to the service.
