Katharine Guttilla, 88, of Oglesby died Sunday night, Nov. 20, at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley.
Mrs. Guttilla was born on June 28, 1923 in xxx to Louis and Edna (Krieder) Alleman. She was a graduate of Tonica High School. She married Stephen A. Guttilla on September 7, 1941, at the home of her parents in Tonica. He died on July 4, 2006.
She is survived by one son, Thomas (Paula) Guttilla, of Utica; five grandchildren: Paul, Daniel, and Joshua Rutkowski, Jeremey Guttilla , and Jennifer Brassanini, and one brother, Wendell Alleman. She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter Lorraine Miller and two brothers Norman and Eugene Alleman.
