Katharina Huetter Hatfield, 85, of Parker, CO passed away on January 27, 2022 at her home. She was born on September 9, 1936 in Kisker, Yugoslavia. In 1960, she received her BA from Purdue University in Lafayette, IN. Two years later in 1962, she received her MS from Purdue University. From 1960-2004 she was a middle school and high school teacher.
On December 27, 1959, she married Garry Kent Hatfield in Elkhart, IN.
Kathy enjoyed gardening, birdwatching and was an appreciator of sunsets. She was a consummate life-long educator. Kathy is also known for her radiant smile. She was a member of the Baha’i Faith.
Survivors include her husband, Kent Hatfield, Parker, CO; daughter, Kendra Hatfield-Timajchy, Parker, CO; son, Kevin Hatfield, Seattle, WA; brothers, Peter Huetter, Bellingham, WA and Adam Huetter, Santa Rosa, CA; son-in-laws, Mano Timajchy, Parker, CO and Bryan Bradford, Seattle, WA.
She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Katharina, Huetter.
