Karolyn K. (Nierste) Jordan, 64, of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Indianapolis and Sandborn, IN, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 8, 2007, in Fort Myers, FL. Born in Vincennes, IN, on September 27, 1942, she was the daughter of Frank and Mary Katherine (Warner) Nierste. On October 28, 1961 she married Cornelius Jordan. Karolyn worked at Flanner and Buchanan Mortuary as a beautician and cosmologist and later at the Merchants National Bank of Indianapolis, IN. She was a homemaker, loving wife and mother.
Survivors include her husband, Cornelius Jordan, daughter, Denisa K. Jordan Wineinger of Poland, IN, and son, Brian F. Jordan of Gibsonburg, Ohio, two daughters: Sheila P. Jordan Jones of Plainfield, IN, and Cheryl L. Jordan Scott of Carmel, IN. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two sisters: Darlene Hartsburg of Freelandville, IN, and Janine Pitcher of Odon, IN.
Karolyn was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Mark A. Jordan.
