Karolyn Bennett Hawkins
Our beloved mother and grandmother, Karolyn Bennett Hawkins of Ogden, peacefully and joyfully joined her sweetheart on May 5, 2016. She was born a twin on January 11, 1949 in St. George, Utah to Joseph and Pearl Andrus Bennett.
Karolyn married her eternal sweetheart, Clarence Hawkins March 24, 1972 in the St. George LDS Temple. He preceded her in death in 2012. She was previously married and blessed with two children.
She loved family history, writing journals, keeping records and serving in the LDS Church Temple. She was currently serving as a ward missionary in the Mountain Ridge Branch.
She had an infectious, welcoming and engaging smile. She loved helping others find the bright side of life. Her greatest loves were her husband, her family and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Karolyn is survived by her children, Bruce (Heidi) Bradshaw, Brooks (Amy) Bradshaw, Heidi Bennett, Joylynn (Calvin) Duncan and Dale (Candice) Hawkins; 22 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren with two more on the way; 1 brother and 3 sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; her twin brother and a granddaughter.
