Ms. Karolina “Karol” Murray peacefully went to be with the Lord on September 18, 2018 in Lakeland, FL at the age of 78.
Karol was born on November 24, 1939 in Aindling, Germany. In 1961, Karol and her late husband, David Morley, moved to the United States – where she later became an American citizen.
In 1976, Karol moved to Franklin, Indiana with her late husband, George H. Murray V.
Karol attended Franklin Memorial Christian Church. Karol was a member of the Senior Center and Moose Lodge. She retired in 2005 after 30 years with the Greenwood Village Arms in Dietary. Karol loved her family dearly and was always ready for an adventure. She enjoyed gardening and was an amazing cook.
In December 2017, she made her final move to Lakeland, FL and attended The Way Community Church in Lakeland, FL.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father Ludwig & Karolina Hammer, brother, Ludwig Hammer and her granddaughter Amber Dawn Morley.
Karol is survived by her children Mary Jo & Mike Hildreth – Indiana, Margret Bostic- California, Melinda & Ronald Drake – Plant City, Florida, Kathy Morley – Franklin, Indiana and George & Ellene Murray – Pennsylvania. As well as her 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
